MEET CELIA ROZE

Celia Roze Salazar is a classically trained vocalist and musical theatre performer located in Orange County, CA. She prides herself in her diverse voice and vocal education that enables her to shine in genres like pop, rock, musical theatre, and classical. Celia Roze completed her BA in Music Performance (Emphasis in Vocal Performance) from Regis University in May 2018. During that time she also interned as a Therapeutic Musician, singing with and for patients and their families as comfort on the Cardiac Floor, and Cancer Treatment Floor.
Celia Roze has years of choral experience under her belt and knowledge in healthy vocal technique, music theory and composition, piano, and percussion. She won first place at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center for the Desert Music Foundation Scholarship Vocal Competition and was a finalist in the Musical Theatre Division of the National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS) Vocal Competition. She is currently a voice and piano teacher at The Inside Voice in Costa Mesa, CA and has been teaching there since 2018. Celia Roze has in depth experience as a solo performer (creating and debuting two headlining recitals) and excels in Musical Theatre; performing in multiple plays and musicals throughout her career. She believes music is the ultimate selfless gift because it requires vulnerability, honesty, and empathy. She wants all of her students to have a safe space to feel creative and express themselves, and then go forth into the world as their most authentic selves and use music to make it a better place.
